Boost Metabolism to Lose Weight

The key to weight loss, or maintaining the weight lost, is in controlling the body’s metabolism. Metabolism is "the sum of the processes by which a particular substance is handled in the living body," according to Merriam Webster Online. In essence, your metabolic rate is the means by which you burn the caloric energy from the foods you eat.
