Bikram Yoga

Bikram yoga, created by an undisputed All-India National Yoga Champion, Bikram Choudhury, is practiced within a room heated to 40.5 degrees Celsius and combined with specific discussions. People of various demographics, whether young or old, slim or obese, short or tall, are grouped together with a teacher who will lead the class for one hour and thirty minutes.

The first step in the Bikram yoga series is to stretch the ligaments, muscles, and tendons scientifically. There are twenty-six asanas to be done, which are various positions of the body in relation to the divinity that will systematically stir the flow of oxygenated blood to the organs and fibres. As a result, working systems will be returned to full functionality. When all of these things are accomplished, it is said that a great sense of wellness would immediately flood.

Brainchild

Bikram Choudhury founded the Yoga College of India in addition to establishing Bikram yoga. He was born in 1946 in Calcutta, the district where Mother Teresa was based. At the age of four, he began to practise this ancient spiritual routine with the country’s notable culturist at the time, Bishu Ghosh, the brother of Paramahansa Yogananda, the founder of the Self-Realization Fellowship in Los Angeles.

Bikram Choudhury was continuously practicing this primordial religious activity for a minimum of four to six hours on a regular basis at Ghosh’s College before he could come up with Bikram yoga. Choudhury was seventeen when he was involved in an accident that injured his leg. Doctors predicted that he would never be able to walk again, but he remained upbeat despite the diagnosis. He returned to his alma mater for total remedy, and six months later, he was fully cured. He now travels around the United States offering workshops in various academies.
